Here’s a helpful question to ask yourself: when I pray, am I working, putting in time and effort to try to get God to do something? Am I, in a sense, bargaining with God? Or am I simply asking my Father who hears and loves me, bringing a simple request from my heart, and trusting Him with it completely?
